Eligibility of the Student

To be eligible for admission in a program at Metropolitan International University Virtual Campus, students must fulfill certain academic criteria set by the National Council for Higher Education.

  • For initial admission consideration, students can upload scanned copies of their certified academic documents like transcripts and certificates on the university’s online admissions portal. This will grant them a provisional admission status while physical documents are being processed.
  • Once provisional admission is offered, domestic students need to submit original certified copies of their academic records to the university for verification and finalization of admission.
  • For international applicants, additional documents are required along with the certified academic documents sent via a secure courier service like DHL. The documents must be notarized by a Public Notary to prevent forgery. They also need to provide an endorsement letter from their country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In case a student’s prior education was not in English, they are expected to furnish a valid English proficiency certificate proving their language competency. Alternatively, they may be asked to complete a one-year English proficiency course before the main program commences.

Only upon clearance of all document verification and language requirements stipulated by both the university and national regulatory body will a student’s admission be deemed final and complete.
